About
Why Vrenberg exists
Vrenberg exists because bar prep should be a system, not a lecture library. The Vrenberg Method is retrieval practice, spaced repetition, interleaving, and desirable difficulties turned into software.
The problem
Lecture libraries do not adapt.
The incumbents run 400-hour lecture courses that treat every candidate the same. You watch, you take notes, you fall behind the schedule, and the schedule does not care. The MBE-only tools are better, but they stop at multiple choice. Everywhere, explanations tell you what the rule is without teaching you why you keep missing it.
That model made sense when content was scarce and had to be delivered in bulk. It does not make sense anymore.
The method
Vrenberg is built on proven learning science.
Retrieval practice is the testing effect: recalling information beats re-reading it. Spaced repetition resurface decaying knowledge before it disappears. Interleaving trains discrimination between similar rules. Desirable difficulties make the work harder in ways that actually improve retention.
Vrenberg turns those findings into a product system: questions are retrieval practice, the review queue is spaced repetition, mixed drills are interleaving, and the timed challenge format creates the right amount of difficulty to make recall stick.
The result is simple: The Vrenberg Method is not a claim about invention. It is an application of research that already exists and has already been replicated.
The product
Bar prep as adaptive software.
Vrenberg Bar tracks each rule individually, so the system knows what a candidate is actually weak in and routes practice there. Essays and MPTs are graded in seconds instead of days, with feedback candidates can act on while the answer is still fresh. An AI tutor, mock exams, a rule graph, and a study plan tied to the exam date round it out.
The internal language is intentional. The V4 engine generates questions. The rule graph maps the canon. Mastery modeling turns performance into the next action. The point is not decoration. The point is to describe a system like one.
Priced so the decision is easy: one purchase, one year of access, no monthly bill. A product worth using does not need a subscription to keep people paying.
Proof
Do not take our word for it.
Vrenberg's practice questions are AI-generated, and that claim invites skepticism. So the claim is testable: a public calibration challenge where anyone can try to tell Vrenberg questions apart from real, released bar questions. Take the challenge and judge for yourself.
